Day Three

On day three me and Janet already felt like we had been here for weeks. I feel like we have packed in just about as much as you can pack into one vacation. We headed down to the city, we had bought tickets to The Lion King the day before. We were both way excited about it! The show was more than anything I could have ever expected. It was AWESOME! I loved every single second of it.
Now that I understand how awesome plays on Broadway can be I would like to see lots more of them. Oh well...not on this trip!

We snuck back in after everyone had left to take some pictures. I was dying that we couldn't take any pictures obviously during the play. This was the best we could do!

In the Menskoff Theater....this is the view of Time Square!
We had to stop at a little place in Time Square for some New York pizza....and it met all my expectations...it was the Bomb!

Random pictures around the city....in front of a fire station....to bad we couldn't have run into some of "New Yorks Finest"
Since there was so much fog and overcast...this was the closest we were getting to the Statue of Liberty!

Even made a stop at Grand Central Station....another awesome building!

The New York Library....

On the steps of the library! We didn't go into the library...once we found out that there were no drinks allowed we split. Me and Janet love Diet Coke....but finding a Diet Coke on ice in NYC was nearly impossible. So right before we got to the library we found some place that had drinks on ice.....we weren't about to get rid of it just to go into the library! :)

Right by Central Park was the Plaza Hotel....very famous. We were going to stay there but it was full! :) He! He!

It's a good thing you're taking lots of pictures and blogging as you go. . .no way you'd remember half the exciting things you've packed into a few days if you waited until you go home to add the details to your blog. Good for you guys. . .I'm thrilled you're having such a great time together. Kind of makes me wish I was there with you--but I'd never be able to keep up the pace. Love. . .MOM

Lion King? Dang! I'm jealous. I would LOVE to see that. Can't wait to hear more about it.

Do you remember that I used to nanny for a family in Boise?? Yep - the Minskoff's. As in the Minskoff Theater!!! The husband came from some serious old money" in New York. Too bad I didn't like them better :)
