Book Worm

Logan can't leave the books alone. I finally put them on a lower shelf in their room so Logan can now reach them and helps himself to them. I guess its good, but they are always spread throughout the whole house. He loves for me to read books to him....but like in these pictures, he will sit and look at them by himself too! Cute little stinker!

Bridger and Logan right before school in the morning! My cute little boys!

Free Day

What a great day Friday was! I was able to go out by myself all day Friday. I started by driving to Park City to see my Chiropractor, then I did some shopping and went to a massage in the afternoon. The massage was AWESOME!!! I had forgot just how much I love them. I need to treat myself to one more ofter for sure. After that I had several hours to wander around the mall and shop. I stopped at alot of stores (ones that I would never go to if I had the kids) and it was just so nice. About 6pm I headed to get something to eat and met up with my sister. I had planned on taking her to do something for her birthday. We had dinner and we went to see Step Up 2 The Streets! Okay funny I know.....this is the kind of movie me and Lani dig! It was pretty good....not the best story line of course but some good music and good dancing! All in all, it was a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day

So I finally caved......Here is what I got for Jason for Valentine's Day! He was suprised to say the least. He has wanted a new TV for a really long time and I just kept saying no...I guess that just what wife's are supposed to say to that kind of stuff right? Well he has been working so hard and doing so good, and I thought it would be fun to reward him with something that he really wanted. I have to admit, I'm loving it too.

Family Time

Since 4 of the 5 siblings live here in Utah, we all agreed that we need to try and get together more often. So since January we have been getting together one Sunday each month. We have just gotten together to have dinner and hang out. This last week we went to Lani's house, we even finished the night off watching MTV's "next best dance crew" thanks to Lani and her TVoing all the episodes......we will always love that kind of crap I think (right Lani?) Here are the cute little boys....Logan, Mitch and Bridger. Carson couldn't be there cause he wasn't feeling well.
The gang gathering for dinner. I made homemade clam chowder and Lani made Coliflower cheese soup, Tami made a killer salad (we missed you Tami...she was home taking care of Carson)

Fun at Tiff's

We can't go to Tiff's house without having a good time. Me and Bridger went over there tonight for a little fun gathering. Of course we had to break out the karaoke, and then it turned into an all night thing. Here are a bunch of fun pictures we took....as always, trying to capture as many fun moments as we can! The girls....Jana, Julie, Mindy, Trista and Tiffany! We played teams on karaoke....girls against boys! Guess who won?
Minday and Jana are always quite the pair!
Jeff torturing Bridger.....of course Bridger couldn't get enough of it!!! He was Jeff's best friend the rest of the night!

Cute Jeff and Mindy!
Who knows what this was about.....just the girls having fun!

Snow Keeps Falling!

We just continue to watch the snow fall each day. I usually really like it, but its getting kinda old. Now that I'm staying home, I would much rather be able to go out and play outside with the kids or go walking.....anything to get out, but it seems as though the weather has no intentions of letting up any time soon. The dogs also continue to put up with the snow as well. I wish I could let them in but they are always wet and stinky, so for now they will finish out the winter outside! I can't wait for the warm weather just so I can go out and shampoo them!

Peace of mind

Where to start? So since I have been staying home with the kids just the simple things like trying to take a shower each day can be difficult. With Logan you seriously cannot leave him alone for a second or he is into all sorts of things. One day when I was taking a quick shower I got out and first went to check on him and he was in his room and had gotten the Desitine out of his bag and it was EVERYWHERE. All ove the walls, all over the blankets, all over the carpet. And by the way, that is very difficult to get off things...its very greasy. Another day he had crawled up the dresser and must have been high enough to get all the toys down from the top shelf of the closet. Another day he was in the kitchen and dumped all the dishwasher detergant out all over my clean floors. Okay, so you get the idea. So I was desperate to find something where he could be safe and not get into things for the ten minutes it takes me to shower. So this is what I came up with. I was telling a friend, "the only place that he can't get into things is when we have him in the car in his car seat". A light went off. We had an extra car seat in the garage and so I just figured when I was time for a shower I bring in the car seat, turn on some cartoons and he is safe and out of trouble. This has been a lifesaver for sure. I can finally shower without the panic of what he must be into now!

Kids Day

Today the kids didn't have school so me and my friend Karen decided to take the kids and get out of the house for the day. We had such a great time. First we went to this place called the Kangaroo Zoo. It is a jump house...it has all these plow up jump houses and slides. I didn't even know these places existed, so thought it was tons of fun and of course the kids had a blast. Here is me, Logan and Carly coming down one of the slides!
Bridger and Carly coming down another slide.

Logan couldn't get enough of this place. I mean this is like a dream to a mom....imagine a place that all the toys are soft, they can jump on them and run as much as they want. They had little areas for toddlers and even babies then all the other stuff even adults could play on. Awesome!
Logan and me on our first trip down a slide....you can see Logan is smiling from ear to ear!

Here is one of the biggest slides....and yes that is me going down it. It was a blast!
Karen, Carly and Bridger! How cute!
