More Ireland Pics

The rest of these pics are just random during my adventures in Ireland. Here is me and Jacquie at "Garvy's", just a pub around the corner from the hotel. It was lots of fun that night with this group.
Judy and Karen's "personal" pan pizzas....They were the bomb!

This is what these pubs go through...these were just lined up in front of pubs. Amazing!

Thought I would take some of these home.... :)

Debbie and Sophia at "The Quays" pub.

So here are a collection of the glasses I brought home from Ireland. These will always have a special place in my heart :) They weren't always easy to get. So the story is, I actually bought two of them but then I was at a pub and asked how much they would charge me for a glass.....the guy told me I could keep it. All places weren't that easy....So Judy had a story she would tell each pub why I needed a glass. She said that I had been given a challenge to collect a glass from each pub I went to. I collected 13 total, and 12 of them actually made it all the way home. I love them!
One day we had a real adventure....It was me, Jacquie Logue, Judy Kirk and Adrian. We headed out in our rental van for a day of site seeing. We headed up to the Cliffs of Moher....again....cause Jacquie hadn't seen them. It was such a fun day, lots of laughter and joking around. Above is just a look out point and we thought it was a cool picture.

This pretty much is a clear picture of how the whole day was. We just had a great time!!!

Jacquie just had to get a picture with these guys. They were the rangers at the Cliffs.

This is in the town of Dolin. We ate lunc there at this O'Connor's Pub...pictures below...the food was so good!

Check out all the road signs...they don't seem to be very organized.

Ireland - Day 3

Monday, we started out with a short meeting with everyone at the hotel. After that we had a reception and then lead into dinner. Jeri and I had went and picked out a restaurant earlier in the day and thought it would be great. Well...it was about a 10 to 15 minute walk and when we stepped outside the hotel it was raining. Not one of us had an umbrella with us. I know...in Ireland and no umbrella. By the time we got to dinner we all looked liked drowned rats! Group photo!!!
Gail and Raquel...looking lovely!

We at at KC Blakes....Jeri and I picked a good one...the food was awesome!
Jeri and Monroe!

Ireland - Day 4

On Tuesday after some meetings and a tour of the Merit facility we headed out as a group on a bus going to the Kylemore Abbey. It was a long drive, but worth the wait. You can't even imagine how pretty this place was. It was such an awesome setting to tucked into the mountain side. Kevin and Raquel Sterba

Rod Ferrand

This is were the owner and his wife are burried.

Notice all the moss on the trees....it was like that everywhere.
This was the catholic church that was on the property as well. Very pretty!

The gang!

Inside the Kylemore Abbey. They have a small area that they let people tour, but there are still nuns that live there so we can't tour the whole place.

Jacquie, Joan and Judy trying to keep out of the rain.

Raquel....she was pretending to work at Merit. I think it could work! :)
