Happy Halloween!

Jason brought the kids into work to trick-or-treat and totally scored in Customer Service. Logan is a frog and Bridger was a power ranger. How cute are they?

FESTIVUS 2006

This weekend was our first annual FESTIVUS 2006 in Bear Lake, ID. My dad came up with this several months ago...he wanted to be able to get together with the whole family somewhere for a weekend and just have some good fun family time. So not only did he make all the arrangements to rent this cabin but he also declared the weekend as Festivus (anyone who is a Seinfeld fan will know about Festivus). The weekend was themed around Festivus...we even decorated Festivus poles. We had so much fun....there was frizbee golf, volleyball, a pool table, ping pong table, lots of cards and game playing. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend with the family. I think this just might turn into a Kendrick tradition!

The Whole Gang!

Since we don't get together as a whole very often we thought it was a good idea to take a family picutes with everyone....what a task that was :)

The Kids at Festivus

We were trying to get a picture with all the grandkids---but you can see there was no way we were getting them all to look at the same time. This is the best we could do!

Here are some random pics of the kids playing during our weekend at Bear Lake.

Is that Deer?

I had to capture Kate's first taste of deer steak. We had Kate over for dinner on Sunday and Jason BBQ'd some of his deer steak....Jason said "there's no way Kate will eat deer steak"....but he was wrong. She had a whole steak and said she really liked it. (Kate and I can never pass up opportunities for funny pictures)

Park City Adventure

On Saturday Kate and I went up to Park City to go ride bikes. We started on this trail called the "Rail Trail" but it was so windy and cold (about 40 degrees) that we ended up turning around and riding this other trail through Park City. It was so much fun....but we didn't last long...the cold weather and the higher elevation was kicking our butts. We drove back to the car ended up on Main Street in Park City, getting coffee, hot chocolate and browsing through some of the shops (as well as taking some goofy pictures along Main Street).

TWO-A-DAYS

This last week I traveled to Birmingham, AL for a meeting....the city was actually called Hoover, right outside of Birmingham. For those that are MTV fans they will know that Two-A-Days was filmed at Hoover High School. So me and Heather (from work) were having lunch the first day and asked our waiter how far Hoover High was from where we were. Turns out we were only about two miles from there....so he gave us directions and we drove over to take pictures. I guess we just couldn't pass up this once in a lifetime experience. :) Heather and I both agreed that this was the highlight off the trip----thats tells you how fun Birmingham really was!!!
