We love Idaho!

We headed up to Idaho this last weekend from Thursday to Sunday. It was about time to get out of town and out of our house for a few days. Its always nice to go home and be able to relax and not worry about anything....mom and dad take good care of us! It was pretty cold so we didn't spend much time outside, but we did manage to get out to the barn several times to feed the horses and cats. The boys really like that part!
We also had to go out to dad's shop to see what he has been working on. Bridger also got to help make a bird house, so he liked that for sure.

Here is little Logan making his way through the snow out to the barn.

Trying to feed the horses!
Bridger likes to be a big helper when we are at grandmas....as you can see!

Finally Done!

So about a year ago we decided to redo our master bedroom. We picked up the paint and it sat in the garage for the last year. It has been on my "to do" list and last week I finally got to it. Here are BEFORE pictures of our red room.

The desaster begins. We had to cover everything since we were painting the ceiling as well....so it was a real mess.

We even had to use primer to cover up the red paint that we had on the walls.

Here we are about done with the paint. A tan on the ceiling and a seal blue on the walls.

Jason.....trying to figure out how to put up the new ceiling fan. I was suprised how many little peices it came in. Harder than we thought for sure!

Now....Jason and Justin (a friend of ours....he hooks us up with all the crown molding) working on the crown molding. Again....much harder than I would have thought.

And here are AFTER pictures. I just love it. I love the color, I love the new fan, I love the crown molding. So it was a TON of work, it took almost two whole weekends to finish it all, but I just love it. My next project...the bathrooms I think! Fun to do new stuff for sure!

27 Dresses

I couldn't wait to see 27 Dresses....so me and my sisters were able to get together on the opening night to go see it. It was such a fun movie....we laughed through the whole thing. 4 stars for sure!!!
Here are my sista's heading into the movie!

On our way to the movie I looked in the back and I started laughing cause Lani looked like she was cramed in the back. She is like six feet tall and her knees were stuffed against the front seat....and there was Janet just relaxing in the front seat. Pretty funn!

Swimming

So we have been feeling a little cooped up these days. With all the cold weather, the kids haven't really been able to play outside much and I guess we are all getting bored with just hanging out in the house. So last night Jason came up with the idea to take the kids swimming. So we packed up and headed to the Legacy Center. The kids had a blast. We stayed for a couple hours and Bridger was so tired by the time we left. It was a great way to get out and do something active. Bridger is already asking when we can go back. Maybe we will have to make it a weekly thing, at least during the winter months.

It's always something....

....with Logan. He cracks me up.....drives me crazy a little but mostly makes me laugh. He came running out of his room with one of dads hats on, his snow boots, carrying the sword and a car. It is like this everyday. He has always got something on his mind. This morning he ran to the back door and said he was ready to take Bridger to school. He would be just fine going out like this. Me on the other hand thougth I better get him dressed :)

New Couches

Me and Jason went looking for new couches on New Year day, we found some that we liked, and they were delivered this morning. I love them. They are a chocolate brown leather set. They look so good, I'm so happy we got them!

What....No School?

So today is Wednesday, January 2nd 2008. Last night I got Bridger to bed early, telling him "You have to get to bed cause you go back to school tomorrow". This morning we woke up, I got the kids breakfast, bathed and got Bridger ready for school. I also went out to start my car about half hour early since it was only 8 degree's this morning. The crappy thing too is that my heater in my Jeep stopped working, so I was out there first thing scraping the windows so I could see. So I bundle up the kids, get all our coats and boots on and head to school. I pull up and there is not a single car there. Oopps....I guess Bridger doesn't go back to school today. Bridger said, "What.....No Schoool"? Yeah, I have had several experiences like this since I have been a stay at home mom. One day I forgot that he got out early and by the time I got there he was just sitting and waiting for me in the office. I tell you, as a mom, it sucks way bad when you screw up. I hope I get better at this mom stuff soon!!!

I thought I would share these things....I guess one day I will think they are pretty funny right? I hope so anyway! Good luck to all the other moms out there!
