Marty's Birthday

It was Marty's (the V.P. of Sales....my boss) birthday on Monday 3/26. We had all the Regional Managers in Salt Lake City for some meetings and they were all in on his surprise. We started off with this poster of Marty's head on an Elvis body (his wife had this picture and let us borrow it), then we had cake and to top it off we hired an Elvis singing telegram to come in and sing to him. I think he was pretty embarrassed, but we all got a good laugh out of it.

American Idol Night

We were rockin' the house Saturday for our first (but not last) American Idol night. So here's the story, Tiffany bought the American Idol Karaoke game that goes to the PlayStation 2. She has been singing it every night at home with her kids and said we had to get together to play. So a bunch of my girlfriends came over. We had a blast, singing all night long to pop and country songs. There are even the American Idol judges that actually judge your performance....they really were hard on us.Here is our character Vanessa that we created....she had quite the look going on.
Mindy, Tiffany, Jana and Me.

Tiff and Mindy rocking out!

I believe this picture is while we were singing our duet to Piano Man.

Justin and Jason had taken the kids to a movie to get them out of the house for a while, but as soon as they got home they joined right in with the fun and singing. Justin even had to go down to his house and get his cowboy hat to fit in while we were singing country songs.

Nicki.....I'm not really sure what she is doing here.

Here is proof that I actually got a 100% when I sang More Than Words. Don't think that is easy to do.....I was the only one who scored 100%.

The gang singing Earl by the Dixie Chicks.

Told ya the boys were getting into it. They tried to play it cool at first but they coudn't resist it when Friends In Low Places came on.

Grandpa Kendrick's Shop

This last year my dad built himself a little shop so he would have an official place to do all of his wood working projects. It has turned out so cute and matches perfectly with the barn and shed in the back. I took some pictures this weekend with the litlle boys "helping" grandpa in his shop. Nothing like letting a 4 and 3 year old play with high powered tools right?
Bridger, my dad (Randy) and Carson.

Good ole' Idaho!

Here are some random pictures from our trip to Idaho this weekend. We went up there for my Grandpa Kendrick's funeral. He passed away on March 15, 2007. Although getting together for a funeral is never a fun reason, it ends up being so good to see all the family and especially the kids have fun seeing all the cousins and getting a chance to play at grandma's house.
Logan couldn't get enough of this swing. He would just laugh and laugh everytime I would push him.....but man he threw a fit when I would take him out of it.

Carson sure loves grandma's horses. He would go out to the barn and feed them as many times as he possibley could. He is getting much braver...which is good, but almost too brave. I caught him and Bridger out in the pasture basically standind right under Annie's tummy just petting her. Cute...but a little scary!

Bridger and Carson with Annie.

Here is Jason playing football with the kids in the back pasture.

It's about time....

....we get some nice weather. I am so happy to be able to let Bridger outside to ride his bike and play with friends. It seems like the winter has lasted forever.....at least when you have two boys trapped inside with not much to keep them busy. We are for sure looking forward to Spring and Summer.
