What an adventure!

On Wednesday night me and Logan were driving home in the evening and he started to say that his tummy hurt. It kept getting worse and worse the whole way home. By the time we got home and I got him out of his car seat he just started screaming. He was doubled over in pain. We went inside and I tried to get him laying down and comfortable, but he was just rolling around in so much pain. At one point he was hardly breathing cause he hurt so much. He was sweating, and crying and you could just tell that he hurt bad. After taking temperatures and also giving him some stomach meds.....it had been about 30 minutes of this.....I decided to take him to the Urgent Care (that was the only thing open at the time). So we drive into Urgent Care, Logan crying the whole way....we got into the doctor really fast and by the time they took his temp again it was at 101....so it had even gone up. After talking to me and looking at him for just a few minutes he said we needed to take him to the ER. GREAT.....so I load Logan and Bridger back up and call Jason to let him know...and we head to the ER knowing it was just going to be a real fun night. To make a long story short.....we spent about 6 hours at the ER. They did blood work, X-ray, Ultrasound.....and nothing. Obviously that is good news. It was funny cause as soon as Logan got some Morphine in him....he was back to his old self. He was making friends with everyone....just like Logan to chat with everyone. His favorite is to ask "What's your name". Then also he was telling everyone he was 10 years old. He is a character all right! So about 12:30 they sent us home, and told us to just follow up with our doctor the next day.

As if the night hadn't been bad enough....on my way home...it was now after 1am....I got pulled over. I was turning into my subdivision, when the police officer turned his lights on. I knew I had not been speeding....but my heart was racing, knowing that my drivers liscence had been expired since June. The officer came up and asked for liscence and registration then went back to his car. When he came back he asked where I was coming from and I told him the ER. He shinned his light on Logan in the back that was asleep....but still wearing his hospital bracelet and pj's....and said, "did you know your liscense is expired"....and I just figured it was best to play dumb. He said it was a $550 fine, but said, "looks like you have had a hell of a night, get your liscense taken care of". Thank goodness he was nice about it and let me go!!!! What a night!

First day of school

Today Bridger started 1st grade. He has really been looking forward to it. He got up first thing ready to go. Of course we had to take pictures as we were getting ready to leave. And do you notice that Logan just had to tag along and be in almost every picture. He was sad that he wasn't going to school too.
I drove him over to school, but once he gets the hang of it we live close enough that he will just be able to walk or ride his bike. He is excited to ride his bike....he thinks that cool for sure.

I had to make Logan feel included and took some pictures of him also....

My Weekend.....

.....Even though Jason was gone I still had a great weekend. On Saturday one of my really good friends that I used to work with got married. Her wedding was up at Brighton Ski Resort and it was awesome. Janet ended up spending the day with me and came up to the wedding with me and we also did some shopping and ate lunch at our favorite place...Ocean City!

I didn't get very many pictures before my camera died, so I am just using the two that I got. I just loved the background with the mountains and ski lifts...I just thought everything looked great.....especially Jaime and Derrick.

First Weekend Results

Jason wanted me to blog about the first weekend hunting. Clark (Jason's cousin) was the only one that got a deer. Sorry for those of you that don't like looking at dead animals......but for hunters this is a pretty cool picture. It was a nice buck Clark...good job!

It starts.........

.......hunting, that is! Today Jason left to go hunting. Tomorrow, the 16th is the first day of the bow hunt. He has been looking forward to this for a long time and was so excited to get all his stuff together to go. The house looked like a tornado hit by the time I got home from work....just gathering all his camo and hunting stuff.....I don't think most people could imagine how much stuff he has.

Jason also ended up taking Bridger with him, so I just have Logan for the weekend. So its nice to have "half" a break. This is just the start of the hunting season.....that will last probably until sometime in October. Well, I wish Jason luck....and hopes he has fun. He deserves it!!!!

If anyone is noticing the time....it is about 1:50am on Saturday night....or I guess Sunday morning. I just can't sleep so I thought I would log on and blog about our night. We just got home from a night at Tiffany's. On our way home around midnight......the boys were both asleep in the back seat. We heard a huge bang and glass shatter. At first I couldn't even see what it was......well it was the back window right behind the divers seat. It was the window that Logan was sitting right next to. I can't even tell you the feeling I had in that second. Me and Jason both started yelling at the kids and trying to wake them up to make sure they were okay. We hurried and pulled over at the gas station that was right by us. We didn't know what hit the window....me and Jason both thought someone shot a gun....but as soon as we stopped I jumped out and opened Bridger's door and a rock fell off his blanket that he had over him. We know that someone either threw the rock or shot it with a sling shot. To come through the window hard enough to not only shatter the window but to go through it too. Jason called 911, we figure there probably wasn't much they could do other than have it on record incase anyone else reports anything going on in the area. So we sat there and tried to clean everything up as best we could....but that glass breaks into such fine peices it was EVERYWHERE. It was in Logan's hair...all over the Jeep and the carseat. I actually put Bridger in the front seat and sat with Logan in the backseat on the way home. We didn't dare to put Logan back in the car seat cause there was so much glass. As we still had about 30 minutes home...I just sat there thinking. I was so upset.....thinking of the terrible things that could have happened.....if that rock would have hit my kids or Jason (that was driving).....we can replace the window, but I am just so greatful that nothing happened to my boys! Logan just kept asking who did that to his window....and I told him it was okay and that we would get it fixed. Bless his heart...he said he would get his toolbox when we get home. Kids think of things in such a simple way....I wish it was that easy. Anyway....we are all home just fine tonight...in one peice....and I am so greatful for that!!!

1st Birthday!

We all celebrated Payton's 1st birthday on Saturday. My mom and dad even came up from Idaho to hang out with everyone. Grandma and Payton below....how cute! Ted, Mitch, Grandma and Payton.....love the get togethers with the family!

Martina McBride

On Friday night we went to the Martina McBride concert.....it was so much fun...of course. Really, as long as us girls are out together we can pretty much guarantee we are going to have lots of fun. We started off meeting at Tiff's after work then heading over to Chili's for dinner!
Above....Juls and Mindy
Below....Tiff, Nicki, and Nicki's sister-in-law Sara

What is it about a country concert that brings out all the nut jobs? We sat in our seats for a long time before the concert just laughing at crazy people......
Red hair, tank top and a visor.......wow....whats not to love about that?

Business in the front.....Party in the back.......Nice mullets....not much else to say about these two!
Here are the other girls that we went with.....they were all Nicki's friends.

I think that Mindy and Nicki are so cute!!!!

The concert was at Usana....it is all outdoors. It was the first time I had been there and I thought it rocked. I want to go to all the other concerts this summer there now.

Believe it or not Martina rocked the house for sure. We all loved it and sang along the whole time!
