More Pictures

Here is the Volleyball group....Jackie had gotten this on her camera! What a shot. All I have to say is I'm glad I am kinda hiding behind Jason.
Okay....let me explain!!! This was the first morning at the pool and everyone was down there drinking (it was only about 8:30am...Hawaii time---5 o'clock somewhere) but someone came down and said that Fred (our CEO) was down at the pool, so I started to gather all the beer bottles to throw away....well Jackie took this picture of me and it now looks like I am an alcoholic or something. Oh well....good times!

Jackie's boys, Kyle and Shawn, Sandy, Heather and me and Jason. The night of the reception and dinner.

Here is a closer picture proving that I actually went kayaking. It was one of my very favorite things to do!!!

Goodbye Maui

This was our last photo taken in Maui. We were all packed up and about to leave the Grand Wailea when I insisted on one more picture. I have to say that I have never been on a nicer vacation in my life. The hard part also is that the bar was set really high after this amazing trip....I think it will be a long time before we experience anything like this vacation. The resort was the best ever, the food was amazing, but more than anything, the people and friends that we were able to spend time with will never happen like that again, it was for sure a once in a lifetime trip for us!!!

Reception & Dinner

We had the last nights receptions out of this beautiful patio and got to watch the sunset....it couldn't have been any nicer. I tried to get around and get pictures of most of the people there.
Jason and Jennifer Gillman
Dr. Garcia and his wife, DJ and Karen Wallace.
Kevin and Raquel Sterba
Bill and Judy Meyer (Kirk)
Billy and Julie Clem (not that you won't recognize them from the million other pictures we have with them) :)
Tim Shipp and his wife
The Owens Family at dinner. I have to say that their kids were some of the most well behaived kids I have ever met. We were very impressed.
Monroe and Jerri May

Last Day at the Beach

This was our last full day at the beach and me and Julie Clem were saying, we were sprinting. Meaning, all week we were taking it easy with the sun so we didn't end up fried and miserable, but that last day I was trying to get everylast bit of sun possible.
Paul Malone and his guest Anita at the beach!
Ken Karpowicz, Kyle Holbrook and Billy Clem spent a lot of time in the ocean, I guess they were trying to body surf.
Sean Jennings and his family!

Whale Watching

On Friday morning we went whale watching. It was pretty fun, there were tons of whales around but none of them came that close so I didn't get any great pictures or anything.

Luau in Maui

I feel like I say each night the thing I did that night was the best....but this night may have for sure been the best. We walked about two hotels down to a luau and it was awesome. I felt like we had officially done all the things that I had wanted to do being in iMaui.
Me and Jas at the luau.

We went with Billy and Julie....our new best friends from Kentucky!! :)
Me and Julie doing the famous self portrait.

The food was the best I have had by far. I absolutely loved it! Here is a picture of Jason's plate! We loaded up!

Jackie and Lory Halbert
Before the luau we took some pictures.....again, hoping to capture some good picture.s together while in Maui.

Water Volleyball

We had a large group from Merit Medical that got together to play water volleyball. Everyone was pretty competitive but it was tons of fun. We have a re-match scheduled for tomorrow! Same place, same time!

THE FOUR FALLS OF NA'ILI'ILI-HAELE

Okay---so these pictures are kind of in backwards order....but here are pictures of this hike we went on on Wednesday. Marty Stephens, my boss (VP of Sales) and his wife had been on this hike before so they came with us to be our guides. Thank goodness they did cause it was so hard to find and there were absolutely no markings at the start of the trail. Anywa, it is supposed to be 4 waterfalls right in a row but there was so little water that there were hardly any falls at all....but it was still a great hike and very pretty. I got a little nervous at times cause everything was really wet and slippery and we had to climb this rope latter, it was right out of Survivor! :)
At the top of the trail when you could go any further there was this area to swim. I was not at all prepared to swim but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to swim in a place like this. It was something you would see in a movie. Some the the guys got in first then me, Julie Clem and Janice Hall decided to be tough and get in. The water was so dang cold, but after hiking it was refreshing and I am so glad I did it.
Julie and Julie!
Mr. John Hall....shocking how cold the water was!
Janice, Julie and myself at the top of on of the waterfalls.
Here is John Hall climbing up the rope latter. It doesn't look that scary but I have to say that I was a little shaky.

At the start of the hike we walked through all this bamboo...it was so thick and dark walking through it, but so cool to see.
There was another kinda hairy place we had to climb up. There were these bamboo stocks that we used to hold on to which totally helped. This is just a picture looking down to those that hadn't climbed up yet.
Here is the group. Billy, Julie, John, Janice, Julie, Jason, Jackie, Marty and Carol.
As you can see there were some falls but it sure wasn't very much water coming off them.
Billy and Julie Clem...they are so cute!
