So about a year ago we decided to redo our master bedroom. We picked up the paint and it sat in the garage for the last year. It has been on my "to do" list and last week I finally got to it. Here are BEFORE pictures of our red room.

The desaster begins. We had to cover everything since we were painting the ceiling as well....so it was a real mess.

We even had to use primer to cover up the red paint that we had on the walls.

Here we are about done with the paint. A tan on the ceiling and a seal blue on the walls.

Jason.....trying to figure out how to put up the new ceiling fan. I was suprised how many little peices it came in. Harder than we thought for sure!

Now....Jason and Justin (a friend of ours....he hooks us up with all the crown molding) working on the crown molding. Again....much harder than I would have thought.

And here are AFTER pictures. I just love it. I love the color, I love the new fan, I love the crown molding. So it was a TON of work, it took almost two whole weekends to finish it all, but I just love it. My next project...the bathrooms I think! Fun to do new stuff for sure!

My compliments to the designers, painters, woodworkers, electricians, and furniture movers! All of you did a great job. I love the colors. . .the room looks great. I know how much work it is to paint a room, but it's so worth it to have it be so beautiful. It makes you feel like you've got a new house.

AWESOME!! Looks terrific Jul! I can't wait to see it in person. Glad to know the Burley's aren't the only glutons for punishment in the renovation department.
