Where to start? So since I have been staying home with the kids just the simple things like trying to take a shower each day can be difficult. With Logan you seriously cannot leave him alone for a second or he is into all sorts of things. One day when I was taking a quick shower I got out and first went to check on him and he was in his room and had gotten the Desitine out of his bag and it was EVERYWHERE. All ove the walls, all over the blankets, all over the carpet. And by the way, that is very difficult to get off things...its very greasy. Another day he had crawled up the dresser and must have been high enough to get all the toys down from the top shelf of the closet. Another day he was in the kitchen and dumped all the dishwasher detergant out all over my clean floors. Okay, so you get the idea. So I was desperate to find something where he could be safe and not get into things for the ten minutes it takes me to shower. So this is what I came up with. I was telling a friend, "the only place that he can't get into things is when we have him in the car in his car seat". A light went off. We had an extra car seat in the garage and so I just figured when I was time for a shower I bring in the car seat, turn on some cartoons and he is safe and out of trouble. This has been a lifesaver for sure. I can finally shower without the panic of what he must be into now!

I absolutely LOVE this story and your solution to crazy Logan. Awesome!
I love it!! I remember I used to put Jack in his high chair, and bring that into the bathroom while I showered. Great story....and an even better picture! ~kk
Hilarious..... whatever works, right?
That's hilarious! I'm going to have to remember that one!
We get to enjoy the same company! Ingenious idea! ACtually, Mitch would probably have a coronary if I did that with him. Can I tell you that my reading and practicing parenting with love and logic actually saved his life on Wed. I still have to blog about that.
Thanks for sharing creativity under frustrating and funny situations...I completely understand!
