Water Volleyball

We had a large group from Merit Medical that got together to play water volleyball. Everyone was pretty competitive but it was tons of fun. We have a re-match scheduled for tomorrow! Same place, same time!

THE FOUR FALLS OF NA'ILI'ILI-HAELE

Okay---so these pictures are kind of in backwards order....but here are pictures of this hike we went on on Wednesday. Marty Stephens, my boss (VP of Sales) and his wife had been on this hike before so they came with us to be our guides. Thank goodness they did cause it was so hard to find and there were absolutely no markings at the start of the trail. Anywa, it is supposed to be 4 waterfalls right in a row but there was so little water that there were hardly any falls at all....but it was still a great hike and very pretty. I got a little nervous at times cause everything was really wet and slippery and we had to climb this rope latter, it was right out of Survivor! :)
At the top of the trail when you could go any further there was this area to swim. I was not at all prepared to swim but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to swim in a place like this. It was something you would see in a movie. Some the the guys got in first then me, Julie Clem and Janice Hall decided to be tough and get in. The water was so dang cold, but after hiking it was refreshing and I am so glad I did it.

At the start of the hike we walked through all this bamboo...it was so thick and dark walking through it, but so cool to see.
There was another kinda hairy place we had to climb up. There were these bamboo stocks that we used to hold on to which totally helped. This is just a picture looking down to those that hadn't climbed up yet.

As you can see there were some falls but it sure wasn't very much water coming off them.

Sorento's

We were invited to go to dinner with the Southwest Region on Tuesday night. We went to this amazing restaurant called Sorento's. As you can see we couldn't have asked for better seats. It was so nice to sit and eat an awesome dinner right on the beach like this. This was also one of my favorite nights cause I love this group of people.

Opening Reception

Its like pulling teeth to get Jason to take pictures, but I convinced him we needed to have some pictures together from Maui. The sunset was amazing this night. This is at our opening reception that all the Merit employee's and their spouses or friends were invited to. It was out on the "Chapel Lawn" and we couldn't have asked for a nicer evening. The weather was perfect...about 75 degrees.

Holly Molly's General Store

The first night in Maui Jason and I were invited to go to dinner with this group. We went to this highly recommended restaurant called the Holly Molly General Store. It was a bit of a drive to get there...it was kinda in the middle of no where but the company and food were excellent.

There were so many pools at our resort I couldn't begin to capture all of them in pictures, but I tried. There is one of the main pools!

A group of us went out to kayak right out from our resort. The picture was kinda too far away to tell but it was (Me, Monroe May, Don Dunn and his wife Kayleen, Billy Clem, Kyle Holbrook) it was one of the funnest things I have done so far. Me and Kyle were by each other and a huge sea turtle came rught under us and came all the way to the serface right by us. It was awesome.

This was the first morning....we pretty much staked out this location and have ended up in the same spot everyday...we know that is were we can find the crew.

Senic Pictures in Maui

You can't really tell on this top picture but we stopped at this place cause there were tons of people out surfing. The waves were the biggest we have seen and it looked awesome to have so many surfers out there.

This is a little chapel that is actually on the resort property, it is really pretty.
